About This Piece:

This little dog is patiently sitting on the back of the couch, watching the falling snow through the window. Perhaps she is waiting for someone to come home? This painting was inspired by my sisters little Shihtzu. Who faithfully sits in the window like that at a certain time every afternoon, until her master comes home.

This would make an excellent decorative item. It is small enough to fit in any wallet sized pocket, picture album, refrigerator magnet sleeve, baseball card sleeve, or 2.5x3.5 sized frames. ACEO's are affordable small works of art.

The best quality acrylics were used to create this. It is painted on a 2.5x3.5 extra fine miniature canvas board created by sharksartcanvas.com.

This little painting comes signed and dated by me, Janelle Dixon, on the front and back. The winning bidder will be emailed their very own EBSQ certificate of authenticity to copy off on their printer.

About the Artist:

Currently, I am an artist working out of my own home. I raise rabbits, and pigeons, and have several other pets.

I can paint commissioned pet portraits upon request (see ebay store, or EBSQ profile for more details). I have shown my art all over my county in the past, including our county fair. I also show at the St. Joe County, and hillsdale county fairs every year.

A lot of my work is painted to compete and show. I have won several best in shows, and honorable mentions from showing at the county fairs.

My art has been sold to, and collected in other counties as well as the US.

I am also a member of the Branch County art guild, a large group of artists in the southern part of Michigan that is dedicated to showing and promoting original works of art. I have exhibited my art through them at the tibbitts opera house, and various other locations in the past. Our group even painted a mural in downtown Coldwater MI, of which I was very actively involved in.

I am also EBSQ certifified and participate in alot of their online art shows.

Each of my paintings comes with its own EBSQ certificate of authenticity, signed by me.
